3 things I learned about Leleti Khumalo 'Sarafina' from Drum Magazine

Gosh I love technology! For less than $2 dollars I was able to buy the latest issue of the South African publication - Drum Magazine. I just had to download this issue to my table given the megawatt star on the cover. Remember Leleti Khumalo from 'Sarafina'? I've been wanting to know what she's been up to and Drum Magazine had all the juicy deets on her love life. Read below to find out the 3 things I learned about the gorgeous actress from the Jan 2 issue!

Where did Leleti Khumalo meet her husband?
The 43 year old actress met her husband Skhuthazo (41) when he was working at a cabin controller for SAA! They began dating a year after their first meeting and after six years they finally sealed the deal when he paid lobola was paid in 2010.

Getting pregnant was NOT easy
Leleti miscarried twice before finally getting pregnant with the twins. Two months after getting hitched (on Nov 2012) Leleti discovered that she was pregnant! I can just imagine the joy they felt after all those miscarriages. Even though her pregnancy was "easy" the babies were born early at a mere 32 weeks. Her husband was away on business so she had to go through delivery solo. "I was all alone and scared, I wanted my husband near me, to comfort me"

What has Leleti Khumalo been up to post 'Sarafina'?
You will recall that she was in the critically acclaimed film 'Yesterday' and held a brief stint in the TV soapie 'Generations' but now the actress has turned VJ and is a radio presenter at the new Vuma FM. "Before the babies were born, I did the breakfast how and Thursday lifestyle show. But my mornings are very hectic and I've had to make a sacrifice"

She seems really happy! So delighted for her and the her growing family. How gorgeous are little Yamukelani & Ulwenzile? Sooo cute! Make sure to pick the issue on new stands now.
