South African actress NABS major role in a Queen Latifah produced TV show!

South African actress Lesley- Ann Brandt is definitely doing her thing in Hollywood. Born in Cape Town and based in LA she's been doing working steadily over the past few years but it seems she may have just nabbed a BIG break that will introduce her to the American audience at large.

Letoya Luckett and Lesley have been hanging out quite a bit
She will star in the Queen Latifah backed soap opera "Single Ladies" - playing Naomi Cox, a sexy and scheming gold digger. Sounds messy and I cant wait to see it!

The new cast members- LeToya, Damien and Lesley
The successful VH1 show (in it's third season now) added 3 new stars including former Destiny's Child member Letoya Luckett, Wayans family member - Damien Wayans and of course Lesley.
Single Ladies - Lesley and original cast member Lisa Ray McCoy
Exciting stuff- will you be tuning in?

Ludacris's girlfriend Eudoxie draws CRITICISM for gifting African kids with WHITE dolls. Was she wrong?

Social media can be such a double edged sword. Rapper Ludacris's girlfriend found out the hard way this past week after she posted what she thought was in an innocent image

Eudoxie with a cute baby in Gabon
The medical school student was in her hometown of Gabon recently and she published what she thought was a charitable act- gifting children in native country with dolls. But instead of getting well wishers commenting on her account , she received an intense amount of backlash for gifting African dolls with white dolls.

Eudoxie's sister next to the suitcase of dolls

Folks must have been bored this day cause they caused havoc on her Instagram page with many citing that she should have taken black dolls instead to help instill positive images for the African babies. In response Eudoxie responded:

I personally think this a bunch of B.S. Would it have been a nice for her to include black dolls in her gifting package? Of course! But folks are missing this was a charitable act- Eudoxie didn't have to do what she did. I would be remiss to not discuss the effect that brown dolls have on black girls (colorism, bleaching, self hatred are still HUGE issues in our community)  but that's something that the parents, teachers, relatives have to instill. We can't criticize this young woman for what seemed like a genuine and warm gesture. Folks need to have a stadium full of seats.

But what do you think? Was Eudoxie wrong for gifting the children with white dolls?

The Voice has a new winner, it's...

The Voice has a new champ!

Major spoiler alert folks!

16 year Texas teen Danielle Bradbery, of Team Blake Shelton, has taken The Voice title for season four – beating out Michelle Chamuel of Team Usher, who came in second, and The Swon Brothers, Zach and Colton, of Team Blake, who nabbed third place.

The winner who says her singing experience was limited to performing in her bedroom was crowned at Tuesday's star-studded finale, which featured a rare performance by Cher and performances by Bruno Mars, Pitbull and Christina Aguilera, who'll back in her swivel chair next season, along with fellow coach Cee Lo Green.

"I'm so thankful," said an overwhelmed Bradbery after her win as her eyes brimmed with tears. "I'm sorry, I'm speechless."

Awww so sweet! Do you think she was the right choice?
