Beyonce claps back to haters in sweatshirt by Nigerian designer!

Just last week the twitterverse exploded when rumors ran rampant that Blue Ivy's momma may have lip synched at President Obama Inauguration. In an apparent response back the naysayers Beyonce posted a picture on her Instagram page wearing a B Side by Walé Adeyemi sweatshirt with the inscription: “Can I Live?”

Adeyemi, MBE, is a young British designer of Nigerian descent that has clothed Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Amerie, Charlotte Church, Missy Elliott and David and Victoria Beckham.

The sweatshirt is cute and all. But we still want to know did she or didnt she lip synch? And if she did, why did she pull out the ear piece in such dramatic fashion. I'm just saying...

Nelson Mandela granddaughters set to debut reality show in Feb

I've always maintained that this was a bad idea. Everything ain't meant to be on reality TV.

After announcing their show last year, Nelson Mandela's granddaughters are all set to launch their reality series on *Cozi TV, a newly-launched network from the NBC Owned Stations group in the US.

Sisters Zaziwe Dlamini-Manaway and Swati Dlamini are featured in the half-hour weekly program, which follows the South African pair while giving viewers an inside look at their lives, close-knit family and personal aspirations. Hmmm I don't like the sound of this! The show airs on February 10, will you be tuning in!?!

Actress Viola Davis looked simply stunning at the SAG awards tonight. I'm in total awe of her Monique Lhuillier Spring 2013 gown. But the best part of her outfit? That fabulous fro! Tatyana Ali says she cries three times a day as a workout!

33 year old actress Tatyana Ali is back on the scene starring in a new hit BET show "Second Generation Wayans". As part of her publicity blitz, the Harvard graduate is doing a bunch of interesting interviews. In a recent chat with the Huffington Post lil Ashley Banks reveals a weird secret about her workout plan:

"I’m crying right now. I cry three times a day as part of my workout routine. It really targets the core. Great way to reduce bloating"

Errr! I mean I wanna get rid of bloating too but crying as part of a workout plan? No bueno!

She also revealed that her guilty pleasure also consists of "one night stands". In this day & age? One night stands are not the business!

According to J.Lo's camp the answer is YES! A source told the New York Post that singer/actress looks "old and haggard" on the People Magazine cover! Ouch! I agree that the pic is decidedly unglamorous but I still think the 43 year old mother of 2 looks great. Ms. Lopez manager Benny Medina is however refuting the claims and saying "they are pleased with the cover & results..". Hmmm somebody's lying! What do you think of J.Lo's cover? Fab or drab?

Gotta love a budget friendly fashionista! Singer Kelly Rowland was spotted wearing the same shoes just days apart. First she rocked them on the red carpet at the BET Honors in Washington DC on Saturday and days later she wore the same pair on the streets of New York. The fashion forward heels are so nice Kellz had to wear them twice. In case you want to cop a pair, the The Dolly Swarovski crystal-embellished suede platform pumps are available at a cool price tag of $1,295. They are hot though! Thoughts?

2013 is going to be a HUGE year for Bulawayo born author NoVoilet Bulawayo. First up, the Cornell University graduate just received the distinct honor of being include in Entertainment Weekly's 13 faces to watch in 2013. So dope!

"The protagonist of Bulawayo's first novel, out May 21, may be named Darling, but this is no precious endeavor. The Zimbabwean author has already earned comparisons to Zadie Smith and J.M. Coetzee for her raw tale of a 10-year-old African girl's struggle to acclimate after immigrating to America"

Can't wait to read the book! You know I came to America around the age of 10 from Zimbabwe, so I am eager to read the book about our often untold story. I love to hear about Zimbabwean doing amazing things, she is definitely one to watch!

Hit or Miss: Danai Gurira's BRONZE ambition at Golden Globes afterparty

"Walking Dead" actress Danai Gurira is cementing her status as Hollywood's golden *ahem* bronze leading lady. After a successful season on a hit TV show, the Zimbabwean beauty is still shining bright like a diamond. She was spotted in all her fierce glory on the 14th Annual Warner Bros. & InStyle Golden Globe Awards After Party held at the Oasis Courtyard at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last night. As much I usually love her fashion choices this one is a miss for me. I like her in bright, look-at-me colors, this is a bit subdued and I ain't feeling it. Her arms look great though, like Michelle Obama good. But I digress...What do you think? hit or miss?

A nearly naked Rihanna covers 7 editions of Complex Magazine!

Rihanna sure knows how to sell sex dosen't she? Wow! The Bajan beauty graces the front of seven editions of Complex’s February/March 2013 issue. Why seven covers? Seven albums. The magazine says:

Annnnnd the Golden Globes are a wrap! My goodness that was the longest 3 hours of my life. Comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were hilarious as the hosts, I loved every minute of them onstage. Their opening monologue had me on the floor. But this post is all about fashion, so let's get to it..

White, nude, black and red  were the main colors on the red carpet. Let's start with the white and nudes..J.Lo was my favorite in this group!

Meet your new Miss America 2013!!!!!!

Meet Miss America 2013. 23 year Mallory Hagan from New York was just crowned the winner beating out 52 other contestants to win the title. She is actually from Alabama but moved to Bed Stuy New York. She wins a $50,000 prize package! I am so happy for her..I met her a few years ago!

My friend Amaris was the pageant director when she won Miss Brooklyn and my girl Marshana in the pink sari judged the pageant. So her journey has been a long and a difficult one. Just look at her weight loss...she worked super hard! Congrats to her!
