Men Feel Old At 58, Women At Only 29

Women feel like they’re getting old when they’re a mere 29, while men don’t feel their age until they’re 58, according to a new study.


A quarter of women surveyed said they felt like they were over-the-hill when they found their first gray hairs, while men said age didn’t sink in with them until their sex lives were affected, the Daily Mail reported.


The poll, done by funeral company Avalon Funeral Plans, also found that 10 percent of women said their true age hit them when their skin lost its youthful glow. Another 50 percent said they felt old when their “assets” started to give after childbirth and breastfeeding. Read more…

It looks like Ellen Pompeo's workout really got the endorphins flowing.

The 'Grey's Anatomy' star was all smiles as she made her way out of the Tracy Adams gym in Los Angeles yesterday, and something says it wasn't her smiley disposition turning heads, but perhaps her choice of workout gear.

Pompeo's tight blue spandex pants and shredded tank top made her gym attire look more like a fashion statement.

I'm sure you've heard the saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Well the pageants I

m about to tell you about take that to the next level. Time Magazine just did a terrific photo essay on some of the strangest beauty pageants around the globe. I absolutely love a good pageant and as a former contestant, judge and coach I will tell you that these are some of the most outrageous contests I have ever heard of! 

Starting things off proper with Miss Penitentiary...

Miss Penitentiary, Brazil
One of many beauty contests held in women's prisons around the world, Miss Penitentiary is the culmination of series of events held over several months in which hundreds of inmates from 10 prisons compete for titles. By allowing many women to take part and parade the catwalk, contest organizers hope to brighten morale among inmates, while many of the entrants say the contest helps them feel more positive about their situation.

Miss Elephant
Intended to help promote elephant conservation causes in Thailand, Miss Jumbo Queen favors young women who best exhibit the characteristics of an elephant, awarding those who excel in grace, elegance and size. (Contestants must weigh at least 175 pounds to enter). Now in its fourteenth year, the contest is held on the grounds of the Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo in Bangkok.

Beauty in Epaulets, Russia
Created to draw more women into the ranks of the Russian Army, "Beauty in Epaulets" judges contestants on their gun-handling skills as well as their singing, ballroom dancing and cooking expertise.

Miss Landmine, Angola
All of the contestants in this pageant, held in 2008, were wounded in explosions caused by landmines. The contest was created by a Norwegian artsit hoping to raise awareness of the struggles faced by landmine survivors.

The Desperate Housewives star was spotted going barefaced after catching a movie last night in CA. Teri is 46 now and I think she looks terrific! She has admitted to using botox in the past but she claims she hasn't done it in a while. Good for her! More celebrities should embrace the concept of aging gracefully!

Rihanna reveals sexual fantasies in Rolling Stone

As I mentioned yesterday Rihanna and her barely there daisy dukes are on the cover of the Rolling Stone Magazine. Details are starting to leak on the interview and Rih revealed some interesting sexual fantasies.

In a totally spontaneous and honest way, Rihanna opens up to the publication about her most intimate secrets: "I love to be tied up and spanked ," she reveals.


"Using whips and chains is too planned... you have to stop and look for the whip. I prefer them to use their hands," she adds.  She also declares herself a masochist, something she confesses to not being very proud of, but which she attributes to the abuse she suffered as a child. Rihanna tells Rolling Stone she was just nine years old the first time she saw her father smoke crack: "I was always terrified on Friday because he could come home drunk. That was payday, and half of it went on alcohol," says the artist.

Did girlfriend just saying attribute her sexual prefernce to being abused as a child? Wow Rih..I have no words.

The activist and model is now living in Paris. I worked with Yomi a few years ago on the African television show and she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.

Liya Kebede- Ethiopia

Claim to Fame: According to Forbes, Kebede was the eleventh highest-paid top model in the world in 2007. Kebede has been featured in ad campaigns including those for Shiatzy Chen, Gap, Yves Saint-Laurent, Victoria's Secret, Emanuel Ungaro, Tommy Hilfiger,Revlon, Dolce & Gabbana, Escada and Louis Vuitton. 

Agbani Darego- Nigeria

Claim to Fame: best known as the first black African Miss World. The beauty queen also placed in the top 10 at Miss Universe that same year - the only black semifinalist that year. After her Miss World, she was spotted in international publications including US Vogue and Essence. Abgani was also featured in international campaigns for cosmetic giant L’oreal. She is based in New York, signed to Ford Model Management and attends New York University.

Charlize Theron- South Africa

Charlize is actress, film producer and former fashion model. She received critical acclaim and an Academy Award for her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the film Monster, for which she became the first South African to win an Academy Award in a major acting category. She received another Academy Award nomination for her performance in North Country.

Her father died on 21 June 1991, after he was shot by Theron's mother. Theron's father, who suffered from alcoholism, physically attacked her mother and threatened both women while being drunk. The shooting was legally adjudged to have been self-defence and her mother faced no charges.

Tom Joyner announced on his show that Foxy Brown was kicked off of his “Fantastic Voyage” cruise and escorted right to a plane. "We put Foxy off the cruise. Let’s just say she got put off,” Joyner said on his morning show. “You had to really act a fool to get put off.”

There were no details available about what really went down but I'm so curious to know what Foxy did! I need her to get it together, how do you get put off a cruise Inga? This is just embarrassing..

Elizabeth Taylor was laid to rest today and the funeral was scheduled to start at 2pm but at Miss Taylor's request the services started late. iss Taylor had left instructions that it was to begin at least 15 minutes later than publicly scheduled, with the announcement, 'She even wanted to be late for her own funeral.'"

Dame Liz was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California where her famous pal Michael Jackson is buried as well.

On being a sex symbol
Every time I hear that it’s definitely flattering, but also uncomfortable. That’s not a priority on my list – being a sex symbol or being overly sexy. I’m just a normal woman. I don’t really focus on being a sex symbol.

On why she dyed her hair red
I think I was ready for something new and loud and expressive. It’s really adventurous – I wanted something that was fun, you know. I didn’t want a normal hair color. I’d had blonde and it was so boring. Black is still my favorite, but I was looking for a color that was edgy. I guess it was just the place I was in at that time. I felt like being spontaneous, and I also wanted to go for something extreme. I couldn’t do green or purple or pink, so red was like the fine line between normal and extreme

None other than Celebrity Appentice star Donald Trump. I have been loving his NBC show lately but I am hating the words out of Donald's mouth. This is what he said about Obama on the View today:

"I was a really good student at the best school. They make these birthers into the worst there is. Why doesn't he show his birth certificate? If you go back to my kindergarten, my first grade," he adds. "People remember me. No one from those early years remembers him... There's something on his birth certificate he doesn't  like."

Im so glad Whoopi was there to call B.S on this. So Donald you think you can run against Obama and furthermore you must believe that he is not a US citizen since you are questioning his birth certificate? Sit Your A** Down! People have to learn to stay in their lanes. Trump must not chime in on political issues and make an even bigger fool of himself.

Paris Hilton: ‘I Can’t Stand Black Guys’

Calling all the black guys in the world..are you interested in dating Paris Hilton? If so, Im afraid you are out of luck. If you are 1% black, Paris wont date you.

In author Neil Strauss’ new book Everyone Loves You When You’re Dead, he shares an anecdote about meeting an 18-year-old Paris Hilton who opens up to him about getting implants at 14 until her mom made her take them out, wanting to pose for Playboy and making out with Vin Diesel before realizing he’s some percent black. Via LA Weekly:

HILTON: I went out with that guy last night.
Which guy?
HILTON (points to an actor in Saving Private Ryan): We were making out, but then we went somewhere where it was bright and I saw that he was black and made an excuse and left. I can’t stand black guys. I would never touch one. It’s gross. (pauses). Does that guy look black to you?
How black does a guy have to be?
HILTON: One percent is enough for me.

Why am I not surprised? Paris was heard using the "n" word in a video from 2007 ago so I'm not shocked at all to hear this. Paris is a has been and it's really sad to know that in 2011 people think this way.

Rest in Peace Dame Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor, whose acting talent and made-for-tabloids personal life made her one of Hollywood's most alluring and lasting figures, died Wednesday at age 79.

May she rest in peace. Liz was one of the first celebrities to be a crusader in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Her son Micheal was right in saying " "Her legacy will never fade, her spirit will always be with us,"

Following in the footsteps of American video vixen the Queen of Bling Khanyi Mbau is publishing a biography that  she promises to be a salacious tell all. The South African actress and singer is out to set the record straight – “so I can close this chapter and move on with my life”. You know the chapter of her having an affair with a married man and being in a violent relationship with her ex-huband. The socialite promises a titillating read that will expose “big names” in politics and the entertainment industry.

WATCH Former Pageant Queen: I Was Told To Lay Off The Tacos

We all know how cutthroat the beauty pageant industry can be, but this story just takes it to another level.

Domonique Ramirez, the 17-year-old former Miss San Antonio is suing pageant officials alleging that they told her she " needed to lose 13 pounds and  lay off the tacos" after a bikini photo shoot. Pageant officials on the hand allege that Ramirez was not responsible as a beauty queen and that wasn't ready to be the titleholder. I'm not really sure who to believe in this story, the truth will come out in court though, Domonique is suing the organizers for stripping her off her title.
