How Regina King lives her best life

Ive always been a fan of Regina King. Her body of work is incredible starting with 227, Boyz in the Hood, Poetic Justice and up until now as the lead actress on the tv show Southland. She is one of the few black women in Hollywood that are doing IT!

By the way, did you guys know that Regina is dating fellow actor Malcolm Jamal Warner? I love the idea of the two of them together, they both seem to have their heads on straight.

Regina spoke to O Magazine about living her best life, here are a few highlights from the magazine.

Best Style Staple
I have a beautiful, soft, yummy Coach bag to carry scripts and my iPad to work; it's a light coffee color, so I can wear it year-round in Los Angeles. And I like that it's not covered with branding—no Gs or LVs.

Best Forgotten Tradition
My family blesses our food before we eat. Whatever god you pray to, or even if you don't believe in a god, it's nice to show that you're grateful to the universe for sustaining you.

Best Mistake
Marrying my ex-husband, because otherwise I wouldn't have my son.
