I love Michelle & Barack Obama. I love how the first couple is open with their relationship and they are not afraid to show emotion and be vulnerable in front of the world. .Barack Obama once said about Michelle “Sometimes, when we’re lying together, I look at her and I feel dizzy with the realization that here is another distinct person from me, who has memories, origins, thoughts, feelings that are different from my own. That tension between familiarity and mystery meshes something strong between us. Even if one builds a life together based on trust, attentiveness and mutual support, I think that it’s important that a partner continues to surprise.”

marriage "isn't perfect". It's been well documented in the press how the President's overriding political ambition caused a wedge between the two so serious that they almost split up. During the period when he was in the senate, the State Senate, in Illinois, he said it was a dark time in their marriage. There are reports that at one point. Michelle almost walked out of the marriage. As time would show though, the couple worked out their issues and ultimately Barack made history by becoming the first black President. Every couple fights and goes through hard times but ultimately it's those hard times that make your stronger and your bond to be unbreakable.
